I always eat here especially during their happy hour. They have the best Mexican pizza. Beware, their regular Mexican pizza is massive! I need a side with the happy hour one and it's perfect. If you get the regular, don't fill up on chips or appetizers. I care barely finish it but it's so good and worth it

A very cool, authentic restaurant! Their history is like the American Dream. In this case, a man with a dream, from Oildale, California, where Merle Haggard lived in a Box Car, that his dad turned into a home, opened a business in Orange County, that thrives to this day! Lot's of free parking. A place where local go to enjoy wonderful Mexican food. The place actually has 2 names. One of them is in Spanish, so find it by their address. They are located in a cool, little shopping center, next to a gas station, with reasonable prices. The decoration is traditional and beautiful. Even the two, spotlessly clean, restrooms have mini-chandeliers!

The moment I stepped in, a smiling face greeted me! We were fortunate to be served by the manager herself, Anna . She seated us, brought drinks, and took our order. The food was delicious; I particularly enjoyed the mushroom rajas tacos & my Smokey mescal margarita. Though she had to leave before we finished our meal, we couldn't leave without leaving a tip, so we settled our bill early. A big thanks to our fantastic server! For those who have expressed concerns about pricing, perhaps consider the taco stand down the street would better suit your budget or relocating from California might provide different cost budget. However, I highly recommend this place for its excellent service, delicious food, great margaritas, and pleasant environment. Thank you to our server Anna we will definitely be back for more!

Amazing foot that is authentic. I highly recommend, I was welcome by Patty the bartender who made the best margarita I have had in Orange County. If you are thinking of stopping in go for it, you won't regret it. Great good and great service

We enjoyed a great staff lunch at Little Onion! My co-worker's fajitas looked amaaaazing, and I heard the lobster tacos were delicious. They all enjoyed their meals. I ordered the Lil' O Salad with some modifications and it was better than I expected. The chicken was moist and well-seasoned. It was also on the larger size which I love about an entrée salad. The table salsa was really good, but beware if you can't handle the heat. It's spicy! Our server Miguel was great too - very attentive and friendly. I also liked the ambience, it's cozy, but not too tight. I'd love to come back here for some happy hour action!

Very cute little Mexican restaurant. They went through a remodel recently and now have their sign stating the Spanish translation of their name, La Cebollita. There's a corner bar to the right with a few booths and barstool seating. Then there's booths to the left, and stairs leading up to the 2nd floor. Lots of strung up lights to give an outdoors vibe, which I absolutely love! Food is excellent, starting with the complimentary chips and spicy salsa. The Horchata is perfectly made. My favorite item is the Molcajete de Asada Plate. You can have the carne Asada cooked however you like, then it's placed overlapping a small cast iron skillet with grilled corn on the cob nestled on top. The carnitas are also really good here. It's definitely one of the real authentic Mexican restaurants in the area.
